More than 1000 tourism scholars and professionals gathered in Guangzhou to participate in the academic event. With the theme of high quality development of China's tourism and social well-being, focusing on the frontier theory of tourism and the realistic dilemma of China's tourism development, the conference analyzed the high-quality development path of China's tourism and related issues of social well-being, provided suggestions for the high-quality development of China's tourism industry and contributed China's wisdom and China's program to the world's tourism development.

Ms. Zeng Yingru, deputy director of the Department of culture and tourism of Guangdong Province, Professor Dai bin, President of China Tourism Research Institute, Professor Sun Yanming, vice president of Guangzhou University, Professor Bao Jigang of School of tourism, Sun Yat sen University, researcher Su Yang of development research center of the State Council, Professor Zhu Hong, director of Guangdong city and migration research center of Guangzhou University, and more than 30 editorial board members of tourism journal attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yan Xuyang, executive vice president of School of tourism, Beijing Union University and chief editor of tourism journal. Gong Jingjing, Zhang Liangquan, Jiao Shanshan and Wu Rulian, graduate students of Tourism Management in our college, attended the meeting.

The conference is divided into four parts: Advanced Seminar on tourism research, opening ceremony of the annual meeting, main forum and sub forum. Wu Rulian and Jiao Shanshan attended the tourism research advanced seminar of tourism journal in 2020. In the sub forum reports, Gong Jingjing gave a paper report entitled review and Prospect of tourism stakeholders' relative deprivation under the background of social governance in the forum of tourism geography frontier and local theoretical innovation, and Zhang Liangquan gave a paper report entitled economic value evaluation of Shaoshan tourists' local attachment in the forum of tourism economy and finance Discuss. At the same time, through listening to the theme reports of experts, the lectures of scholars and experts' comments, the understanding of some academic issues has been deepened.

Through this academic conference, we have learned the latest development trend of tourism research, increased our knowledge, and gained a clearer understanding of the research direction and content of the discipline frontier, and learned some useful research methods and strategies, which are of great help to the follow-up professional learning and research.
