On November 13-15, the 2020 annual meeting of China Geographic editing and publishing was held in Jiangxi Normal University. The conference released 30 excellent academic papers of Chinese Geographical Society (2016-2017). In 2016, Dr. Lu Tiangui and Professor Li Hongyi jointly published the achievement measurement and optimization of coordination between population urbanization and land urbanization: a case study of Nanchang City in Geoscience.

Focusing on the interaction between population and land elements in the process of urbanization, this paper analyzes the state evolution law between the two, analyzes the influencing factors behind the evolution law, and puts forward the dual optimization path of population and land urbanization, which has important reference significance for promoting the sustainable development of urbanization. Since its publication in the Journal of Geographic Sciences in 2016, this paper has attracted extensive attention from the academic community in the field of urbanization (cited 150 times, Download 3385). The cooperation between Dr. Lu Tiangui and Professor Li Hongyi won the title of excellent academic paper in the Journal of China Geographic Society, which is an important embodiment of our college's emphasis on publishing domestic high-quality papers, and will contribute to the construction of double first-class of the University.
