On May 30, the second  Pinming  National College BIM Application Graduation Design Competition was successfully concluded. The work of the Ambitious team of Jiangxi University of Finance and economics composed of undergraduates Niu Pengxin, Wei Xin, Yang Linying, Zhao Yumin and Xie Yilin won the first prize of BIM digital simulation of the undergraduate group.

The event was hosted by China Construction Education Association, undertaken by Xi'An Polytechnic University and Shandong Urban Construction Vocational College, co-sponsored by Professional Committee of educational technology of China Construction Education Association, Professional Committee of Higher Vocational and adult education of China Construction Education Association, Hangzhou Pinming Security Control Information Technology Co., Ltd. and supported by Beijing Yingjianke Software Co., Ltd.

Since October 2020, the competition was open to national colleges and universities, and the final ended in May 2021. It lasted nearly 8 months. A total of 420 undergraduate and secondary vocational colleges, 1420 participating teams and nearly 8000 teachers and students from 29 provinces (cities and regions) across the country signed up for the competition. After the selection of the promotion competition, 317 teams were finally promoted to the national finals.

With the end of the preliminary evaluation of the competition, the Ambitious team entered the national finals with the 29th place in the group. In the finals, the group members made an excellent defense, and finally ranked fourth in the group with 83.2 points, winning the first prize of BIM digital analog.

Under the careful guidance of Li Ming and Yin Qianliang, the team carefully prepared, paid attention to the refinement of the model, gave full play to its professional advantages, and fully demonstrated the good knowledge literacy and positive spirit of Jiang Cai students in the competition.

By participating in this competition, the students not only improved their professional ability, but also cultivated the engineering feelings of unity, hard work and dedication of engineering students. While learning BIM Technology, they also lamented the strength and charm of BIM Technology.
