Our students won the 5th National College Students Real Estate Valuation Skills Competition

On July 17, 2021, the 5th National College Students Real Estate Valuation Skills Competition, sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of Public Administration Majors in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and the National Association of Deans (Department Heads) of Land Resources Management of Colleges and Universities, and hosted by China University of Geosciences, was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The theme of the competition was Real Estate Valuation Practice and Innovation under the Guidance of Green Development Concept, which attracted teachers and students from 74 colleges and universities across the country, including Chinese Min University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

After strict formal review, multiple rounds of expert external review and online finals, under the guidance of Associate Professor Lu Tiangui of the Department of Land Resources Management, and composed of four undergraduate students, Chen Anying, Zhang Xueying, Qu Weiping and Li Xinrui, the work submitted by the work Evaluation of the Price of the Right to Use The State-owned Construction Land for Commercial Facilities and Commercial Facilities in Nanchang City won the third prize of the competition, and the college won the Excellent Organizational Unit Award.

It is reported that Real Estate Valuation, as the core course of land resource management, has always faced the major needs of social and economic development, focusing on the cultivation and innovation of valuation practical skills. The National College Students Real Estate Valuation Skills Competition is based on this as a starting point to encourage participants to broaden their knowledge from multiple angles and aspects, improve the valuation practice skills of college students through competition and exchanges with participating competitors, cultivate college students' valuation practice innovation ability, and meet the demand for valuation talents in economic and social development in the new era.

Through participating in this discipline competition, the teaching mode of promoting learning with competition and promoting teaching with learning was further consolidated, which not only improved the professional quality of students majoring in land resource management, highlighted the teaching quality of land resources management majors, but also enhanced students' confidence and interest in land resources management majors.
