​On February 25, 2022, Associate Researcher Yu Hu from the Institute of Geographical Sciences and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGR) was invited to visit our college to give a lecture titled National Parks and Ecotourism Development. The lecture was hosted by Professor Hu Haisheng, Vice President of the College, and attended by teachers and students including Liu Dejun, Chen Dongjun and He Jinzhi.

Focusing on the theme of national parks and ecotourism development, Associate Researcher Yu Hu introduced the construction of national parks in China, discussed the interrelationship between the construction of national parks and regional economic and social and ecotourism development, and put forward the outlook on the future construction of national parks and ecotourism development. During the lecture, Associate Researcher Yu Hu had an interactive exchange with our students and teachers, and both sides had an in-depth discussion on the tourism development of national parks.

Associate researcher Yu Hu is a master's student supervisor of Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy director of the professional committee of land spatial planning research of Chinese Society of Natural Resources, deputy secretary-general of the professional committee of tourism management of Chinese Society of Management Science, mainly engaged in the research of sustainable tourism development, regional spatial strategy, urban and heritage tourism, etc. He has presided over 1 sub-project of National Key Research and Development Program, 1 sub-project of National Science and Technology Support Special Project, 1 sub-project of In 2018 and 2019, he was selected as one of the F5000 Leaders of Top Academic Papers in Chinese Fine Science and Technology Journals.
