​In order to strengthen the patriotic education of MTA students, on October 23, 2022, under the leadership of Mr. Xiao Gang, the leader of MTA tutor team, MTA students of Grade 22 went to the Ship View Area of Nanchang for the practice investigation of red tourism and red gene inheritance patriotic ideological and political teaching.

During the practical teaching activities, the teachers and students set foot on the warship Nanchang, visited the onboard facilities and weapons, and felt the life scene of the navy officers and soldiers on the spot. In the activity, the teacher inspired the integration of red tourism and ideological and political education to inherit the red gene, and analyzed the current development situation of Nanchang ship scenic spot, which triggered the students' thinking and discussion on how to use the existing resources to innovate the development model of red tourism.

Through this ideological and political teaching practice, we can deepen our understanding of the cultural connotation and function of red tourism, integrate patriotism into professional teaching, and achieve good teaching effect.
